PREMIERFLEX 3000 - SBS Modified Bitumen Waterproofing Membrane

DESCRIPTION

BITUMAT PREMIERFLEX-3000 is an SBS modified bitumen waterproofing membrane re-inforced with spun-bonded polyester mat. The combination gives the proven waterproofing qualities of bitumen along with elasticity, and excellent resistance to weathering and ease of application.

BITUMAT PREMIERLEX-3000 is a general purpose waterproofing membrane and is excellent in multi- layer or single layer roofing system. When surfaced with granular slate, BITUMAT PREMIERFLEX-3000 is ideal as an exposed top layer. BITUMAT PREMIERFLEX-3000 is also suitable for underground waterproofing. Suitable for moderately cold or hot climates.

Nominal Roll length : 10 M Nominal Roll width : 1M Nominal Thickness MM : 3.0, 3.4, 4.0, 5.0 Nominal Weight, Kg/m2 : 4.0, 4.5, 5.3, 6.6 Reinforcement : Spunbonded polyester mat.

APPLICATION

BITUMAT PREMIERFLEX-3000 is installed by torch welding method, loose-laid or fully bonded to substrate. When loose-laid, only overlaps are bonded together. Peripheres and protrusions are sealed according to specifications.

Flat areas : 1.15 M2 /M2 per layer with 10 cms. side laps and 15 cms. end laps. Base flashing : 100x35 cms. with 15 cm. end laps, 0.40 M2 / linear Mtr. Average wastage : 3 - 5 %

TORCHING GUIDELINES

The underside of the membrane should be torched just enough to superficially melt the bitumen. Excessive heating may damage the re-inforcement.

Overlaps should be re-heated from the top and resealed with a trowel to ensure seam integrity.
