PREMIERFLEX-2000 - SBS Modified Waterproofing Membrane

DESCRIPTION

BITUMAT PREMIERFLEX-2000 is an SBS modified bitumen waterproofing membrane reinforced with spunbonded polyester mat. The combination gives the proven waterproofing qualities of bitumen along with elasticity, and excellent resistance to weathering and ease of application.

BITUMAT PREMIERLEX-2000 is a general purpose waterproofing membrane and is excellent in single layer or multi- layer roofing system. When surfaced with granular slate, BITUMAT PREMIERFLEX-2000 is ideal as an exposed top layer. BITUMAT PREMIERFLEX-2000 is also suitable for underground waterproofing. Suitable for moderately cold or hot climates.

Nominal Roll length : 10 M Nominal Roll width : 1M Nominal Thickness MM : 3.0, 3.4, 4.0, 5.0 Nominal Weight, Kg/m2 : 4.0, 4.5, 5.3, 6.6 Reinforcement : Spunbonded polyester mat.

APPLICATION

BITUMAT PREMIERFLEX-2000 is installed by torch welding method, loose-laid or fully bonded to substrate. When loose-laid, only overlaps are bonded together. Peripheres and protrusions are sealed according to specifications.

Flat areas : 1.15 M2 /M2 per layer with 10 cms. side laps and 15 cms. end laps. Base flashing : 100x35 cms. with 15 cm. end laps, 0.40 M2 / linear Mtr. Average wastage : 3 - 5 %

TORCHING GUIDELINES

The underside of the membrane should be torched just enough to superficially melt the bitumen. Excessive heating may damage the reinforcement.

Overlaps should be re-heated from the top and resealed with a trowel to ensure seam integrity.
