BITUMAT BITUTECT-II is a uniquely formulated, prefabricated protecting membrane with a special multi-layered design for superior pliability, tensile strength, puncture resistance and resistance to natural elements.
The multi-layered design consists of heavy duty polyester mat core, saturated then coated on both sides with plasticized bitumen. The heavy duty polyester core gives the membrane high tensile strength, elongation, puncture resistance and superior lap joint strength.
Properly installed BITUMAT BITUTECT-II forms a durable, lightweight protection membrane for shielding the waterproofing from abrasive backfill, site damage, and re-inforcement fixing.
BITUMAT BITUTECT-II membranes are ideal as a protection membrane to protect waterproofing systems that may be on roofs, reservoirs, basements, tunnels and car parks. Due to its superior mechanical properties, it resists sharply angled aggregates from damaging the waterproofing system. The polyethylene sheet on both the sides also adds to the protection property of BITUMAT BITUTECT-II.
