BITUGARD -Non-Fibered Waterproofing Coatingt

BITUMAT BITUGARD is an economical cold applied waterproofing coating formulated from ductile, high quality bitumen, select solvents and special additives. Bitumat Bitugard from a flexible, durable waterproofing firm that resist the attack of weather, salts and water.

BITUMAT BITUGARD can also be used on metal roofs, spouts and gutters

BITUMAT BITUGARD should not be used for new roof construction or over modified bituman membrane.

USER

Bitumat Bitugard is a general purpose waterproofing coating suitable for application to existing roofs, as a re-saturation over built-up roof and for underground concert foundations or basement.

OUTSTANDING FEATURES

Bitumat Bitugard is formulated with a highly ductile and pliable asphalt in order to withstand the normal cycles of expansion and contract. Cures to a tough elastic film, resistant to weather, sun, heat, rain, underground water and salts. Resistant to many acids and alkalies Easy to apply and saves labour costs. Economical waterproofing coating.

CLEANING

Tools : Clean with kerosene Hands : Use a hand cleaner or kerosene followed by soap and water.

PACKING

20-Litre pails and 200-Litre Drums.

STANDARDS

Base complies with ASTM F449, Type II

COVERAGE RATE (Approx.)

Over concert : 0.5 to 0.7 Ltr/M2

APPLICATION

The surface must be thoroughly cleaned, free of dust, dirt, debris, grease and oil. The surface must be dry. If applied over concert it must be thoroughly cured.

It can be applied by squeegee, spray, brush or rollers

HEALTH & SAFETY

Flammable; contains petroleum distillate. Keep away from open fire, sparks or other ignition source. Wear protective clothing, gloves and goggles.

Fire - Flammable when wet, flash point 40 C

Skin - Avoid repeated or prolonged contact; if contact occurs, remove with hand cleaner that removes oil or grease; then clean with soap and water.

Eyes - Contact could cause irritation. If contact occurs, flush with clean water.

Inhalation - Can cause dizziness, Remove to fresh air and if breathing difficulty persists administer oxygen & contact physician.
